Donali has been sold, passed the vetting with flying colors yesterday. He is going to Sand Pointe Idaho, possibly this week-end weather permitting. His new owner will be Emma, a 15 year old girl who events and does pony club. She rode him beautifully and he seemed to really bond with her. She had a horse that died in the fall and has tried 18 other horses. She knew after about 5 minutes on his back that he was the one!
We will miss him around here but he is going to a wonderful situation. Congratulations!
Horses at Heart is a horse rescue-placement group that does much needed work here in the county. They are having a tack sale and auction on Sat March 17. They need donations; tack, services, time etc. If you wish to donate, there is a flyer on the whiteboards in each barn with more info.
Roy and I are going to be gone for a week at the end of the month. We are going to visit his sister in Phoenix, March 21-28.
Jenn is back to work this week after her maternity leave. She will be back to a little riding soon as the knee is healing. And, she and Carl just returned from a vacation in Cancun, the first one without the kidlets.
Frances Flynn is a friend of Lina’s, goes to Sehome and is our newest addition. She has been riding DC and is learning to jump. She already pitched in at the last show and was a great help. Her parents are Ann and Brad.
Welcome!!!!!
Promise is moving in for 2 1/2 months for training. Susan is going to be very busy with her work so between the 2 of us Promise will be busy too. Susan grooms dogs, by the way, if you need a groomer.
Tina is coming this Fri. Please check the schedule and make arrangements. Thanks
Yes, Beth is coming. She will be here 2 days with a class Fri. PM. I highly recommend riding both days, cost should be $75.00 per session (if she hasn’t raised rates). $15.00 for the exercise class Fri.
Looks like the Whatcom Dressage club is hosting a schooling show on Sun. May 6th. Put it on your calendars.
