We had a fun afternoon although the horses all had full moon itis!  Whew, challenging for the riders but they all handled things with aplomb and went home talking about the good scores and moments they had. It was so nice to have the sun shining and no wind. Well done ladies!

Ride-A-test

We had fun yesterday, nice job to all who participated. Vicky, Char, Jasmine, Mary, Michele, Susan, Debbie, Jenny. Thanks to all who scribed, it all was a good practice forthat as well as show prep, test riding and I also learned a few things about the tests. We’ll probably do it again.

Next is the Beth clinic, then the WCDEA percentage day on May 6th.

Ride-a-Test Schedule

For those of you riding in the “Ride-a-Test” clinic on Saturday, March 31st here is the line-up and schedule.  If you’re not riding, you’re welcome to come out and watch.  We also need scribes, please.

There is a 10 minute warmup allowed, followed by a 6 minute test, then an 8 minute critique, followed by an opportunity to ride the test again.

***Please be on time so this can run smoothly.  Also, you will need to arrange your own reader***

Ride-A-Test

We will do a ride-a test day on Sat. march 31st. I will have a sign-up sheet for times on the board in the main barn. This will be ever sooooo casual to give you a chance to have a test scored (by me) get a few pointers on it and then ride it again. You will have 1/2 hour of time and a 15 min warm-up.

This is right after I get back so it will give all of you a chance to practice while I am gone.

Promise is moving in for 2 1/2 months for training. Susan is going to be very busy with her work so between the 2 of us Promise will be busy too. Susan grooms dogs, by the way, if you need a groomer.
