The show was fun, the rain held off. Horses started out terribly, very naughty but the girls pulled it together and finished with a bang. Lina was able to ride the tight turns we have been practicing and really got a feel of how to do it at 2’9″. . Zoe moved up in height to the 3′ division so was happy, her first time in jumpers and even did a couple of tight turns.      Good job!

A good Sunday, Lina had 3 great rounds . Bailey is jumping so well – just got a little tired on Sun these shows are hard on horses and riders.

Zoe and Fraser were 2nd, 3rd, and 4th in their hunters. She scratched the flat class;  tired and too many entries would have been there till 6.

Another very good day! Lina had 3 really good rounds, again one rail down in two of them; just the lightest rubs so bad luck really. She is riding well and Bailey is being really good. One class they were clean and Lina ended up 3rd. Huge classes so any placing is excellent.

Fraser is getting better each day, settling and really tuning in to Zoe. They finished 5th in both hunter classes on Fri. Saturday they had 2 gorgeous rounds placing 3rd in both and one round good but not quite up to the other ones. They moved up to 2nd in the flat class, he looked lovely but couldn’t beat the fancy warmblood. Zoe is happy with him and having fun.

The season is starting. Zoe and Lina are going up to Thunderbird this week-end. We leave Thur afternoon and are back Sun. Wish them luck!

We had a very successful schooling show. Both Callie and Fraser were very well behaved and Megan and Zoe rode extremely well. Between them I think they won all the classes they were in. Megan’s first show away from home – we have a budding star in our midst. Of course we all know Zoe is already a star!

The show went well, horses behaved for the most part. Weather was very nice. Dixie was strong but jumped well. Andrea ended up cantering a course at 2’3″. Fraser was a brat in the AM but Zoe persevered and he jumped well. Rachel had a blast on Homer, he was so good and is getting many flying changes. Bailey was a little forward and very wiggly but jumped everything easily and is getting quite a few changes as well. Zoobie ended up at 2’6″ and was able to make the striding in the long lines. She behaved beautifully all week-end. Lina did great switching horses.

Thanks to Danni G who came down and warmed Zoo up on Sat and jumped her. A new student and friend of Lina’s; Frances came down on Sun and was a huge help. holding horses etc. Thanks!

The dates for these shows are Feb. 11-12 and March 10-11. Plan on schooling on Sat, leaving the horses overnight, then the show on Sun. You can join in on one or both days.
